If you wish to rent to Section 8 Voucher holders, you should inform the local Housing Authority of the availability of your property and also indicate in your advertising that you welcome Section 8 Voucher holders.

In order to be considered for HUD section 8 tenants, you should contact the housing department in your city or county to determine which handles Section 8 in your community.
This agency will send you an application, upon completion of the application you would return the application. If your application is complete and all goes well, an inspection would be set up to look at your property. This is not really hard, but there might be a few things that might be found that need to be redone. This happens all the time so, don't get all upset.
Once you have completed your inspection you will be given a letter indicating your approval for section 8 housing. If you have more than one unit in the complex, each unit would have to be inspected.
You might consider joining the Apartment Housing Association. This is a good organization for landlords. There are many things available through this organization that will assist you in being a better landlord, along with legal forms and local customs of renting and leasing in your area.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.
